Eddie Colatorti, Realtor

Compass

Eddie Colatorti’s passion for real estate, combined with his designer’s eye, are traits both buyers and sellers love. While his business began centered in the city of Chicago, he has branched out into the suburbs and across state lines as his clientele has grown. “Building relationships is second nature to me,” Colatorti says. “That quality, paired with my expertise in real estate, makes me a valuable asset to clients.” His creativity in design also carries into real estate. “Negotiating is an art form that requires attention to detail, problem-solving techniques, and patience, all of which are characteristics I embody.”

Working diligently for clients has transformed Colatorti into an award-winning Chicago Realtor. In 2020 and 2021, he successfully grew his business, earning him a place in the top 6% of the network both years by sales volume. He’s been a million-dollar agent over 20 times and a multimillion dollar agent seven times. He’s also in the top 6% of the Chicago Association of Realtors network, the top-producing agent in the Kinzie office of Compass, a rising star to watch and a 30 Under 30 upcoming agent.

Colatorti also prides himself on taking a hands-on approach with clients, acknowledging that each relationship and property is unique and should be handled as such. “Buying and selling your home is complex and deeply personal,” Colatorti says. “Because of that, treating clients like family is a guiding principle for the way I do real estate.” Raised by Italian immigrants, Colatorti carries strong family values into his business practices, which, he feels, sets him apart from his peers. “Everything I do in my personal and professional life is to make my mom and grandparents proud, so I carry that mindset into every interaction I have,” he says.

Colatorti’s charitable involvement includes raising awareness and funding for animal welfare and supporting numerous cancer foundations. He can also be found spending time with his Nonna; traveling with his partner, Ryan; and exploring the city with his pugs, Angelo and Gino.
