Chloe Reynolds, Real Estate Broker

Compass

Chloe Reynolds always knew she wanted to be a real estate agent. “I remember putting on my mom’s suit jackets when I was a little girl and making my sister follow me around our house while I pointed out the home’s features,” she recalls. She worked in corporate risk management when she first arrived in Chicago after college and honed her negotiation skills settling insurance claims. But Reynolds never lost her passion for real estate and by 2018, she was hosting open houses for one of the most successful agents in the Chicagoland area and learning the ins and outs of the downtown market.

Today, Reynolds specializes in first-time homebuyers — millennials and condominium buyers, in particular — but has also represented second- and third-time buyers, as well as highly successful entrepreneurs and professionals looking for their dream homes. She knows her markets well, since she has lived in Chicago for a decade, including eight years in Lakeview.

With a hands-on style and shrewd negotiating skills, Reynolds likes to be involved at every step in the process. “My job doesn’t end once we are under contract,” she says. Her goal is to thoroughly prepare her clients and bear the stress of the transaction herself. This approach leads to Reynolds forming more than a business relationship with her clients; she develops long-lasting bonds that result in second- and third-hand referrals and an ever-growing client network.

Reynolds’ strategy is to source homes for her clients in out-of-the-box ways. “In a competitive market like the one we are in now, the best properties transact off-market,” she says. “Once I understand what my clients are looking for, I go out of my way to find it for them by tapping into my network.” Reynolds is proud to have independently produced significant sales volume while sharpening her neighborhood expertise over the past year.

Reynolds is a member of the Women’s Council and the National Association of REALTORS®. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and biking.
