Swati Saxena, Managing Broker

Baird & Warner

For more than 10 years, Swati Saxena has made it her mission to help individuals and families achieve their real estate goals. “In the past year, home has taken on a new and bigger meaning for us all,” says Saxena. “I’ve always been mindful of what buying or selling a home means to each client, and this year those stakes were often heightened, adding even more anxiety and stress. During what has been an incredibly challenging time for us all, I’ve felt very fortunate to be able to continue to help people maximize their goals while minimizing stress and anxiety, and, of course, finding the safest ways for us to work together. I want every client I work with to have an easy, joyful real estate experience, and to find a home they love.”

Her combination of a client-centered approach and powerhouse negotiating skills has helped Saxena, a managing broker with Baird & Warner, become the No. 1 producer in her office for the second straight year and earn membership in Baird & Warner Founder’s Club for the past five years.

Saxena has a traditional immigrant story: A former semiconductor engineer born in India, she came to the U.S. to earn her master’s degree in electrical engineering. Her extroverted nature meant real estate was a perfect career change, and now her clients benefit from her engineering skills — her analytical, solution-based approach; attention to detail; sharp eye for structures and spaces; and ability to break down and communicate complex situations.

Focusing on serving her clients and community in the near west suburbs — from first-time buyers to luxury clients to downsizing homeowners — has allowed Saxena to flourish personally and professionally. The vast majority of her business now comes through referrals, repeat clients and her extensive personal network. She’s passionate about racial and gender equity, political representation, veganism and equitable educational opportunities and always looks for a way to create positive change. Along with her spouse and their rescue mutts, Kona and Chester, Saxena resides in Oak Park.
