When homebuyers and sellers are looking for extra support and thorough communication in their Chicagoland real estate transaction, they need look no further than the Mary Lusk Group at Compass. Mary Lusk, Jenni Niemiec, J.P. Maund and Mike Sokol make up the diverse group, with each of the Chicago natives specializing in different parts of the city and suburbs.

These talented agents recognize that some brokers tend to normalize the homebuying and selling processes, although it’s unfamiliar territory for many clients. “We understand real estate transactions can have a huge impact on the trajectory of one’s personal and financial life,” team leader Mary Lusk says. “We work to guide people through both the transactional milestones and the emotional side of the journey. We’re direct, honest and lead with information and education to anticipate and get in front of any questions, issues and next steps.”

Lusk is careful to allow each teammate to shine and believes in celebrating everyone equally. She encourages each member to operate as a full agent so they may support their clients together as a whole.

“My team can easily pass and catch the ball amongst ourselves,” Lusk says. “We work closely together to allow us to be interchangeable when and if needed. We each have different experiences, so we lean on each other for insight when we want another perspective.”

A wealth of experience and knowledge has earned Mary Lusk Group an impressive arsenal of awards — consistently placing them on both the professional office and city association leaderboards based on sales volume and other factors. They’ve also been acknowledged as members of the top 1% of real estate teams at the Chicago Association of Realtors and two-time winners of the Cultural Ambassador Award, applauding their contribution to the community of their company.

Leading with a philanthropic heart, the team enjoys involvement in charitable organizations such as Chicago’s Small Business Advocacy Council, Equality Illinois, Chicago Cat Rescue, Lily’s Closet, iMentor, the Greater Chicago Food Depository and more.
