Lisa Rome, Real Estate Agent,

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago - Glenview

It’s been a meteoric rise over the last three years for Lisa Rome, who has become one of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s premier real estate agents serving Chicago’s northern suburbs.

“I have always loved real estate; I am fascinated by market trends and being a part of peoples’ journeys, whether they are downsizing, buying their first home or needing more space for a growing family,” she says. “It’s an incredible honor to be part of it.”

Rome, who grew up in the northern suburbs and has lived in Northbrook for the last 13 years with her husband and two children, says her deep understanding of the area serves as a concrete foundation for her real estate business.

Her successful background as a fine artist and graphic designer gives her a unique perspective to help clients find the right home. “It allows me to visualize the potential in any property,” she says. “I love being able to help my clients navigate through the process of change and realize the possibilities.”

Rome launched her career with a well-established team in Chicago, and after learning the ropes, she started her own solo practice.

It was a smart move for Rome, who closed over $10 million in sales the first year. That accomplishment earned her the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chairman’s Circle Gold Award for being in the top 2% of agents in the BHHS network.

In addition to top-of-the-line service, Rome attributes her success to a strong social media and marketing presence. “Clients have appreciated my cutting-edge marketing style, as well as my constant communication, passion for what I do and ambition to yield the best results for everyone,” she notes. “I try to make the process as stress-free as possible and give each client the time and attention they deserve.”

When she manages to find time to take a break from working, Rome is the No. 1 biggest cheerleader for her husband and her two teenage children. She loves tackling do-it-yourself projects and spending time in the sun with her Golden Retriever Oakley.
