Lindsey Richardson, Real Estate Broker

Dream Town Realty

When Lindsey Richardson spotted a gap in the real estate industry 13 years ago, she took it upon herself to fill it. Seeing a need for real estate professionals who could act as a resource for new Chicago transplants such as herself, Richardson earned her real estate license and began her career in what she describes as “the city that stole my heart.”

A seasoned real estate broker with Dream Town Realty, Richardson runs a referral-heavy business, catering to both first-time buyers and repeat clients in downtown Chicago. Revered for her accessibility and creative problem-solving, she has been a Chicago Association of Realtors Top Producer since 2012 and was featured in the Chicago edition of Real Producers magazine in April 2019.

“Many people think that real estate is as easy as it appears on Bravo and HGTV,” Richardson says. “They don’t understand the blood, sweat and tears that go into each deal for our clients and how connected we are to their well-being and making their dreams come true. It can be difficult, yet I’m honored being entrusted day-in and day-out to deliver results.”

Outside of work, she managed to successfully reschedule her 2020 wedding to May of this year. “It’s taken a lot of tears and patience to get through the last year in general, with an insane real estate market and the ups and downs of pivoting in my personal life,” she recounts. “However, as a veteran real estate agent, I’m a seasoned problem solver!” She admits she put a deal together on her wedding day, a day she reassured her husband she would take off, yet during which she couldn’t resist going the extra mile for her seller.

Over the past year, Richardson is proud to have volunteered for the first time to be an election judge to ensure every neighborhood in Chicago had access to vote in the 2020 general election. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants with her friends and spending time along the lake with her foster-fail pup, Ollie.
