The saying often goes, “What’s meant for you will not pass you by.” These words could not be truer for Kristine Galazka, Realtor with d’aprile properties. What started as a casual conversation with friend and d’aprile owner Ryan D’Aprile has since led to a new career and six successful years in the real estate business. “He talked about the potential he saw in me and the qualities he felt would make me a star agent,” recalls Galazka. “He offered me the opportunity, and I took the chance. Now I know this career is for me.”
Always a self-starter, she feels that real estate is an ideal fit, as it allows her to be where she needs to be as an active mom, while also maximizing her time spent on growing her business. Her dedication, attention to detail, and always-responsive approach to all the different hats she wears in her career and at home have paid off, netting clients much success in the market shifts seen last year.
Such was the case for one client who endured an unpredictable list of changes as COVID began, including multiple over-asking offers, followed by an underpriced appraisal, which Galazka then dutifully fought with evidence, data and clear communication. Her persuasion was effective. “The loan officer reordered the appraisal based on my dispute of it, and the second time, everything came back where it should have been,” she reports. “My seller was thrilled.”
A winner of d’aprile accolades including Top Producer in 2017 and the Key sales award in 2020, Galazka enjoys showing buyers what they can afford in a home, maximizing their dollar and educating them so that they can make a decision they’re completely happy with.
“I love to treat them like family, like friends, with personal stories and a foundation of trust,” she says. “This career is so personal to me, and their home is so personal to them.”
