Kim Ehler, Senior Real Estate Broker and Founder of The Ehler Group

@properties

Senior real estate broker and founder of the Ehler Group at @properties, Kim Ehler makes real estate fun and easy, so clients never feel overwhelmed. With 13 years in the real estate industry, she knows the markets of Chicago and its suburbs inside and out, making her uniquely able to serve clients of all types, be they luxury, investor and first-time. “The majority of my clients end up as friends, and they know they can count on me in the future,” she shares.

Using her friendly personality and strong organizational skills, Ehler cuts through any drama that could accompany a real estate transaction with openness and honesty. Those that work with Ehler appreciate those qualities and have referred her services to their friends and family members. Indeed, the majority of her business comes from referrals from past clients and neighbors.

Her goal is to make sure her clients love where they live but are also protected when it comes to their next move, and she’s never pushy when it comes to transactions. “I always say, ‘I am not going to tell you what to buy, but I am going to make sure you have no issues reselling,’” Ehler says.

From start to finish, she offers clients a streamlined process that maximizes satisfaction and minimizes stress. She’s been dubbed a “life broker” because she takes care of all her clients’ needs. She has an extensive network, ranging from contractors to dogwalkers, housecleaners to doctors. Performance and planning go hand-in-hand for Ehler. She always has a strategy for each client to ensure success. “I also believe prior planning prevents poor performance,” she relays.

Outside of real estate, her passions are her son and their Maltese-poodle mix, Gus. She likes trying new restaurants and enjoys a glass of nice wine while spending time with friends. Fluffy dogs and the occasional Netflix binge also rank among Ehler’s favorite things.
