Jacqueline Patton-Trail, Broker Associate

Baird & Warner, Gold Coast Office

A licensed attorney and Realtor with Baird & Warner’s Gold Coast office, Jacqueline Patton Trail brings a strategic, impeccably researched and strongly intuitive approach to buying and selling property for clients all over Chicagoland. With a deep knowledge of countless city and suburban neighborhoods, combined with a broad range of listings and properties she can skillfully sell, Patton-Trail is more than four years into a journey that has already shown her hometown pride and her resolve to serve her clients.

“I was born and raised in Glenview, attended high school here and have friends all over the city,” says this Loyola University School of Law graduate, mother and three-time Chicago marathon finisher. “If there’s an area of the city I don’t know, I’ll spend hours poring over listings and getting to know it.”

Getting her start in real estate under the tutelage of colleague Phil Moss and at the urging of her wonderful husband, Jamie, Patton-Trail recalls taking an interest in BW’s status as a top workplace and seeing the immediate vision of her future.

A member of the National Association of Realtors and the Illinois Bar, Patton-Trail has since earned BW’s Gold Coast Rookie of the Year award, 2019 Founder’s Club award for being in the top 5% of the company by sales and BW’s 2020 Chairman’s Club award. It’s no surprise, either — Patton-Trail kicked off 2020 by negotiating a strong over-asking deal while in labor with her son.

“I’m process-driven, and my clients get a complete roadmap of what to expect from me,” she says. “Once I know the client’s ‘vibe,’ I get busy helping support their needs and tailoring my approach.” Capable of everything from staging to coordinating renovations to arranging professional listing photos for sellers to negotiating strong deals for buyers, Patton-Trail does it all. “Clients ask if I ever sleep,” she laughs. “And I do, but I really love this job.”
