Gretchen Gullo, Founding Broker

@properties

Gretchen Gullo, founding broker with @properties, recounts a very utilitarian reason for first getting her real estate license, back 30 years ago.

“I initially became a realtor to sell my own personal home, a place in Park Ridge,” says the Arlington Heights native and northwest Suburb expert. “Years later, I’ve been selling ever since – and still in the same home!” Having previously been the executive director of a large non-profit childcare agency, Gullo knew that working with families was a passion of hers – but the move into real estate gave her unexpected new ways to serve the community.

“My clients find me truthful, invested in their best interests and committed to helping them have fun with the purchase process,” she says. “My business today is mostly repeat clients and referrals because of that.” Now having earned the Five Star Professional honor for seven years and having weathered the challenges of 2020 by learning how to sell virtually and keep clients safe, Gullo continues to write the story of her expertise and hometown pride.

“Clients know that my expertise spans from new construction to homes with old character, and they know that I’ll be truthful about the features of that home,” she says. “I’ve been in the business long enough to know what to look for, how to understand their needs and goals, and set clear, direct expectations.” Promising her clients cutting edge technology and marketing as part of the @properties family, coupled with her own work ethic and informative style, Gullo’s customers have the latitude to enjoy the home buying or selling process – while feeling secure that they’re in the best hands.

“This is one of the biggest investments of their lives and they deserve my professional transparency and answers to their questions,” says this active church elder and volunteer. “I care about my clients, and after all these years, I still love this business.”
