Glynnis Johnson, Real Estate Broker

@properties

From the North Side to the South Side, Glynnis Johnson specializes in all areas of Chicago. “Being a 24-year North Side resident has allowed me to become familiar with the ins and outs of each neighborhood,” says Johnson, a broker with @properties. “I also work with several investors on the South Side and south suburbs, which has allowed me to become knowledgeable on these locations.”

With a client list that includes first-time homebuyers, repeat clients who are looking to upgrade or downsize, and luxury clients, Johnson also focuses on working with investors who flip properties and those looking to increase their rental portfolios. Regardless of the client’s goals, she will show up prepared and early. “Whether I’m showing my listing or working with a buyer,” she remarks, “it’s important for my clients and colleagues to know I value their time.”

When Johnson lists a home or development, she creates a flawless showing experience for the buyer. “It’s important to present the property in its best possible light,” she insists. “If you miss the opportunity to provide a great first impression, you may lose their interest.”

Going the extra mile for Johnson’s clients pays off. “I’m not a transactional broker, and I value my client relationships,” she explains. “Being knowledgeable, transparent, authentic and focused has allowed me to gain their trust. A majority of my clients are repeat clientele, and I’ve helped many of them buy and sell multiple properties throughout the years. They’ve also consistently referred new clients to me.”

Johnson is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors (NAR), and is also a Certified Residential Specialist. She has earned NAR’s Pricing Strategy Advisor, e-PRO, and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist certifications, and holds the designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist.

Visiting family, making fitness a priority, traveling and spending time with her husband, Derek, and their rescue cat, Moose, help Johnson recharge when she’s not working with clients.
