Gina Purdy, Broker Associate

Baird & Warner

If you’re in the Forest Glen area, it’s likely that Gina Purdy is a familiar face. “I live in the area where I sell, and most of the time I see my clients around the neighborhood and even become friends with them,” says Purdy, a broker associate at Baird & Warner. She even created a drone video highlighting the Edgebrook neighborhood, where she has lived for more than 20 years.

“It’s easy to sell in the neighborhood that you love and are a part of,” say Purdy, who has been in real estate for more than 25 years. “Edgebrook is a wonderful community with top-rated Chicago schools, a great downtown area with shops, restaurants, a library and post office, parks, as well as forest preserves and golf courses.”

Purdy credits her success to her involvement during the sales process. “My clients appreciate my attention to every single detail and that I am involved in the entire sale process,” she says. Purdy assures her clients that she will be in close contact throughout the entire transaction and is true to her word. “My clients are always surprised at my response time,” she explains. “I am in constant communication with my clients — communication is key.” She credits her responsiveness and availability to clients for her numerous referrals. “My communication with my clients is the top reason they come back to me and refer me to their friends and family,” she says.

Despite 2020’s challenges, the Chicago Association of Realtors named Purdy the top agent in volume and sales in Forest Glen. She was also named the top office producer in volume and units by Baird & Warner Edgebrook.

When Purdy isn’t helping her clients find their new Forest Glen home, she can be found riding her bike on the North Branch Trail, golfing or walking her shih-tzu, Ginger, around the neighborhood. She is also a strong supporter of the local schools, local businesses, and she and her family support Feed My Starving Children.
