Eva Sachman Turek, Broker

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago

For Eva Sachman Turek, helping clients find their dream home is more than just a job — it’s an obsession. She finds the different styles of homes, different neighborhoods and meeting new people every day endlessly fascinating.

In addition to her drive, her biggest strength, perhaps, stems from the 15-plus years she spent in corporate sales before getting into real estate. It was in Fortune 1000, C-level boardroom meetings across industry sectors including marketing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, information technology and more that she earned her negotiating chops. “I use all of those skills each and every day in my real estate business,” she says.

Sachman Turek explains that those negotiating skills have helped her better connect and build relationships not only with clients but with buyer and listing agents she works with on the other side of the deal. “It’s much more than a transaction — we’ll end up running into each other again,” she explains.

Her attention to detail helped her shine during the pandemic, during which she successfully negotiated a number of multiple-bid offers for clients. “I will always go the extra mile for my clients, and I’m always there for them,” she says. “I’m responsive to clients’ needs, nurturing and respectful of their tastes and preferences — cultivating rapport is essential to my business.”

That’s led to more referrals, enabling her to beat her sales record every year she’s been in business. Her approach is process-driven and aggressive when needed, she says. “Each family is different — I find myself adjusting to their individual needs but sticking to the process,” she notes.

She’s won a number of awards since joining Berkshire Hathaway, including the Rising Star Award in 2016, the Honors Society designation in 2017 and 2018, the Leading Edge Award in 2019 and the Presidents Circle in 2020.
