Many Casselyn Group clients say they don’t know how they would have handled the homebuying and selling process without them, appreciating how Casselyn Tertell and Mallory Slesser utilize their hybrid style of business while keeping the process fun, easy and relaxing.
“Our clients consistently tell us they loved working with us because we are not only personable, we always have their best interests at the top of our agenda,” Cassleyn says. “They also say we are very quick to respond to their inquiries and help them navigate the home sale/buy process with ease. It is very common after we close on a client’s home, they tell us they miss talking to us so much, which is a great feeling to have.”
It’s no surprise the two are running a successful team. It’s in their blood. Tertell’s mother is a large real estate producer and watching her, she knew she wanted to be part of the business. Slesser’s father is a luxury home builder. Always interested in all aspects of real estate, not just design, she got her license and never looked back.
“We believe knowledge is power, so the more we know about every aspect of a home (from foundation issues, structural issues, redesigning a kitchen, what colors sell, etc.), the better we can sell the home. The more we’ve sold, the more experience we add to our large Rolodex of knowledge,” they say.
With combined 17 years of experience behind them, they run a tight team, which recently saw some additions. Both had babies five weeks apart at the start of 2020, and then COVID hit. To get an idea of their work ethic, despite being new moms and the pandemic, they had one of their best years yet, while also breaking into a new market.
Outside of work, their young children keep them busy, but they both make time to start their days at Orangetheory Fitness. Slesser is an avid gardener, while Casselyn, who loves outdoor activities, enjoys parks, bike riding and taking walks.
