A senior broker with @properties, Casey DeClerk made 2020 a year for the books through her own unique approach to business. Combining her education and background in psychology and hospitality, DeClerk offers clients a customized combination of perseverance and compassion that gets big results.
“My professional experiences in hospitality, coupled with my studies in psychology, taught me that patience and adaptability are two of my best tools in my real estate career,” DeClerk remarks. “Today’s communications are driven by texting and emailing, but I still prefer having conversations with people in person or on the phone.” Professional and fun to be around, she garners clients’ acclaim for her “above and beyond” approach to meeting their needs and expectations while netting them top dollar.
“I closed five deals over $1 million in 2020, and my business remained very steady through COVID,” declares this @properties Road to Rolex winner and Chicago Association of Realtors top-producing agent and Certified Negotiation Expert. “I also got licensed in Florida, serving Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Naples and Palm Beach, to name a few.” A member of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Miami Association of Realtors, DeClerk handled the highest sales price in a Chicago building for a two-bedroom, two-bath unit in May 2020 — and had another record smashed in the building for a one-bedroom-plus den unit in March of this year.
“I’ve been able to turn rental clients into homeowners and then earn their landlord business, as well,” DeClerk reports of one interesting shift she saw in 2020. “Then I get to work helping increase their rental income.” With an average market time of only 36 days and getting clients 101% of their list price on average, DeClerk isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
“I treat each client with respect and honesty,” she shares, “and that’s reflected in the continued positive relationships I have with them.”
