Brandon Coll, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending

Clients are always Brandon Coll’s top priority. By overpreparing them for their home financing journeys and overdelivering on their needs, Coll sets them up for success. This has led to countless referrals for both him and his business partners.

A senior vice president of residential lending with Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. at their Northbrook branch, Coll understands that the loan process can be overwhelming for some borrowers. This is why he guides them through the steps before they even begin.

“It’s my job to make sure my clients are prepared,” he says. “I do this a number of ways, including asking detailed questions, letting them know about all documents required upfront and providing informative material they can keep to reference whenever they need.”

Coll is also a standout when it comes to extremely challenging transactions. “My professional partners know to come to me whenever they have clients that need unique solutions,” he says. “Rescuing loans has become a regular occurrence for our team. When I attend closings for these transactions, I’m able to see the pure joy on their faces when they get their keys. These clients thought all was lost, and with some research, I was able to make their dream of homeownership a reality. I feel honored to be in a position to help people achieve their goals in such a profound way.”

Even though 2020 was a challenging year for many, Coll didn’t slow down. In fact, he reached his personal goal of closing over $72 million in loan volume for the year and earned a spot in the company’s President’s Club, a group reserved for top producers. Coll frequently appears on Mortgage Executive magazine’s Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in America list and in the Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators rankings.

During his free time, Coll enjoys hockey, golf, hiking, camping and vacationing with his wife and two children. He is grateful for a career that allows him the flexibility to be present throughout his children’s school activities and takes pride in watching them grow into well-rounded individuals.
