Andrea Geller, Broker

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago

It’s been more than two decades since Andrea Geller jump-started her real estate career. Those early days of working with developers, selling new construction and conversion developments, allowed her to build her career much faster than the typical broker coming into the industry.
Having worked in many aspects of the business, she prides herself on her ongoing professional development and participation in national and local Realtor associations, which she says is a top priority to help best serve her clients.

Adaptability is the skill she says has been most instrumental in her success, especially in real estate, where no two transactions are ever alike and the market is affected by outside factors that can change from day to day.

“The tools that we use are always moving forward. Each transaction, regardless if I am on the listing or the buying side, needs to be approached as a new and different opportunity, utilizing my vast experience, people skills and managing through changes as they come along.”

When the pandemic hit, she didn’t sit back and wait to see what the effects would be on the market. Rather, she got down to business.

“I figured out the changes that needed to be made for both my buyers and sellers and worked through it,” she says. “I never had downtime. Some of those changes continue to be incorporated in my business as the real estate industry continues to evolve.” What remains constant is her high level of service and advocacy on behalf of her clients. That never changes.

Geller supports the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to children with cancer, by donating a portion of each of her transitions to the foundation, as well as the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Foundation, which gives back to the local community.
