Phil Mistrata, Broker Associate and Team Lead

Dream Town

Growing up in Chicago, Phil Mistrata garnered a true appreciation for the history of the city. He enjoys getting to know the nuances of each neighborhood and community, possessing knowledge that has helped him sell more than 1,000 homes throughout his career.

Mistrata is a broker associate, as well as the team lead for the Mistrata Group, a top-producing team at Dream Town. He serves clients throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, working with anyone from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors. Mistrata saw incredible success when he opened his own office in 2011. However, just last year, he moved his team of dedicated agents to the Dream Town Realty family, where he is supported by a top-tier administrative and marketing staff, a move that has proved to be a great fit for him and his team.

Mistrata prepares clients by working with them through a series of process-driven questions designed to uncover what they truly desire in their next dream home. With experience in renovation and new construction, Mistrata understands that each property is unique. “I enjoy working through a property’s potential by sharing what could be and what needs to be done,” he says. “Sometimes in our business, the right property is in front of us but requires the proper lens to see its potential.”

Every year since 2010, the Chicago Association of Realtors has conferred on Mistrata its sales award, which acknowledges the top 1% of the association. Over the past decade, Mistrata has closed more than $150 million in sales. Much of his consistent success comes from his breadth of knowledge about market conditions, patience and undeniable ability to actively listen. In fact, the majority of his business is built solely on referrals. “Each client moves through the process at different speeds,” he says. “Understanding a client’s pace and needs helps me to connect with them so we operate in unison.”
