While he was still a student at DePaul University, Pasquale Recchia and his friend started a wireless business that spanned all the way from Illinois to Arizona. Yet Recchia decided to take on his next professional adventure in the real estate industry — and he hasn’t looked back since.
Recchia began his career working directly for Ian Schwartz of the Ian Schwartz Group, embracing every opportunity he could to help across the entire business. “While working with Ian, I sucked in as much knowledge as I could to be able to understand the ins and outs of real estate,” he says. Eventually, his love for real estate grew into a desire to create his own business. Today, Recchia is a broker associate for @properties and takes on clients all throughout Chicagoland. He serves all kinds of sellers and buyers, specializing in residential and multifamily homes.
Throughout his time as a broker, Recchia has consistently been recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors as a top producer. Just like he did in college, Recchia still views each day as a learning opportunity, crediting much of his success to his ability to understand a changing market. Additionally, being coachable allowed him to have great relationships with mentors early on. The lessons he learned while just starting out in the industry have proved to be instrumental in shaping his career, too. Recchia’s clients describe him as extremely knowledgeable, and they know they can count on him to be available whenever they need assistance.
When he’s not working with clients, Recchia enjoys serving on the Chairmen’s Advisory Council for the Big Shoulders Fund, an organization that provides quality education to inner-city residents of Chicago. “It provides scholarships, tutors, mentors, and a commitment to support the most vulnerable families and students in Chicago to ensure that everyone has a fair shot at an education,” he says.
