Thanks to his background as an attorney, Mo Dadkhah is an expert at navigating particularly difficult negotiations and transactions. For him, taking the broker’s exam while owning his own law firm proved to be the best career decision of his life.
When Dadkhah graduated from law school in 2009, attorney job offers were scarce. He decided to take advantage of the situation and open his own law firm. Without prior experience as an attorney, Dadkhah began working in the field, simultaneously learning from other attorneys in court and covering hearings for additional experience. He took the real estate broker’s exam in order to get a second job and make ends meet. This, it turned out, uncovered a second passion. Today, he owns Main Street Real Estate Group, where as a broker he serves buyers of all kinds throughout Chicagoland.
Throughout 2020, Dadkhah has been proud to own a growing brokerage during a difficult time. Though COVID-19 shutdowns removed the ability to train and coach agents in person, Main Street Real Estate Group has recently seen a 5% increase in agent count. “That shows that even in tough times, people want to be a part of our culture at Main Street,” Dadkhah says. He possesses the ability to empathize with clients, and they often describe him as hardworking and diligent. As a whole, it’s his consistency that motivates clients to keep coming back.
Dadkhah has earned his fair share of accolades throughout his 10 years in the business. He has been a Chicago Agent top producer for the last five. He has also earned recognition as a Power Player by Chicago Scene magazine, and Main Street Real Estate Group was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. Top Agent Magazine once featured Dadkhah on its cover, and he was recognized as one of the top 50 attorneys by The Top 100 Magazine.
