Jodi Slutzky, Senior Broker and Team Leader

The Jodi Sells Chicago Group, @properties

As soon as she purchased her first home, Jodi Slutzky knew that a career in real estate was in her future — so much so that she decided to leave behind a finance career to become a real estate broker. “Becoming a homeowner was so empowering that I wanted others to feel the same excitement I felt when I closed on my first condo in the Gold Coast,” says Slutzky, who is also a certified financial planner.

Now a senior broker and the team leader of The Jodi Sells Chicago Group with @properties, Slutzky has been named a Top Producer by both @properties and the Chicago Association of Realtors from 2012 through 2018.

A large percentage of Slutzky’s business comes from repeat or referral clients. “It is the greatest compliment that so many clients come back to me years later in the next stage of their lives,” she says. “I have started with clients who were purchasing their first home and then helped them again for their second or third home. Seeing my clients evolve is the most exciting part of my career.”

Slutzky works with buyers, sellers and investment property owners throughout Chicago, focusing on the Fulton-Randolph Market District and West Loop, where she has lived for the past 14 years. She prides herself on her ability to provide the highest quality service, anticipate her clients’ needs and help navigate every real estate transaction seamlessly.

A resident of downtown Chicago, the industry veteran says her financial finesse is an asset when it comes to helping her clients. “I am able to walk a client through the process from beginning to end and want them to be as educated as possible,” Slutzky says. “For many people, this is one of the biggest financial decisions they will make.”

Slutzky is an avid traveler and a self-described “foodie,” and if she’s not showing property in a Chicago neighborhood, she’s likely to be found trying out a new restaurant or planning her next weekend getaway.
