Jeff Bushaw, Broker-Owner

Main Street Real Estate Group

From sunrise to sunset, Jeff Bushaw is hard at work, attending to the needs of his clients, coaching his team of agents, and actively learning how to improve as a broker and the leader of the Main Street Real Estate Group. Specializing in the Chicago and North Shore markets, Bushaw has a referral-heavy client base comprised of family, friends, and former buyers and sellers.

“Every client is important in this business,” he says. “Treating every client equally and being honest is a big part of building trust. It’s not just about one transaction and one commission check. It’s about letting your clients know that you are looking out for their best interests throughout the entire process and long after it as well.”

Having grown up watching his mother sell real estate in the ’80s, Bushaw had been harboring a passion for the industry since childhood, ultimately making the career switch seven years ago after a lengthy stint in corporate finance at a telecommunications company. “When my position was relocated out of state, it gave me the opportunity to do something I enjoyed,” he explains, adding that he’s no longer running out the door at 5 p.m. sharp.

With each of his team members applying their distinct areas of expertise to best serve their respective clients, Bushaw is able to concentrate on fine-tuning his own process. “I am very systematic when it comes to past, present and future clients,” he says. “I leverage my extensive network of resources to coordinate the residential buying or selling process with other agents and principals. I also use the latest online marketing tools and traditional tactics to expose properties to the largest audience possible.”

Bushaw is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, which has awarded him the honor of top producer every year since 2015. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his children grow and learn.
