Janelle Dennis + Associates always strives to provide clients with expertise and advice honed from their leader’s 15 years as a top producer. Focusing on their clients’ best interests is at the heart of everything they do, and their high level of service, combined with deep market knowledge, leads to great results.

Together with virtual assistant Samantha Burns, the team grew its business by 45 percent in 2018. Dennis is the team leader, and with more than 600 homes sold over her career, she’s regularly recognized as being among the best in the business. New agent Hannah Roesch joined the team in 2018 and had a rock-star first year of sales, earning @properties’ 2018 Rookie of the Year award. Mary McMahon joined in 2019 and had her first buyer under contract within her first three months.

“For all of us, there is a passion for real estate and helping our clients achieve their dreams, as well as an entrepreneurial drive to create our own successes,” says Dennis, who also holds the following designations: Graduate, Realtor Institute; Real Estate Negotiation Expert; Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist.

All team members have college degrees and professional backgrounds in marketing and communications, which they regularly use in their work. The team also knows the city well; Dennis has lived in Chicago for 25 years and Roesch and McMahon both grew up in the suburbs and have resided in the city for the past six years. The team serves clients in Ukrainian Village, Wicker Park, Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Old Town, Lakeview, North Center, South Loop, West Loop, Lincoln Square and Edgewater/Andersonville, as well as the suburbs.

A career in real estate seemed like a natural fit for McMahon, who grew up watching her contractor dad and Realtor mom assist clients. Roesch, on the other hand, realized real estate was her passion after buying her first home in Wicker Park. “I wanted to make this my full-time job,” she says. “Successfully helping family and friends is rewarding.”

In their free time, the team enjoys traveling, dining out and attending the many neighborhood festivals throughout the city.
