Amy & Aaron Galvin, Managing Partner & CEO, respectively

Luxury Living Chicago Realty

Partners in business and life, Amy and Aaron Galvin have found their niche serving luxury renters, buyers and sellers, as well as multifamily developers, owners and operators in downtown Chicago.

Aaron left behind a career in liquor sales for real estate after enjoying the process of helping his friends find new apartments in downtown Chicago. After three years as a partner at a boutique apartment finding agency, Aaron started Luxury Living Chicago Realty in 2007, with the goal of providing an unmatched level of professionalism and service in the apartment industry. Shortly after Aaron founded the company, Amy transitioned from a career in brand marketing and public relations to help build the business.

Nearly 12 years later, they are consistently recognized as leaders in the Chicago multifamily industry. Their company helps thousands of renters find a new place to call home each year. Last year the Luxury Living Chicago Realty team exclusively leased 11 brand new apartment buildings across nine different neighborhoods in the downtown area. Collectively, the team is responsible for 40 percent of all new leasing in downtown Chicago.

Adding to its success in the rental arena, the company is now offering a comprehensive sales platform focused on first-time homebuyers and sellers in downtown Chicago. “With an extensive network of luxury renters, we welcome the opportunity to help our clients transition to becoming home buyers,” says Amy. “It’s a natural progression in today’s real estate market.”

Also exciting for Aaron and Amy has been the addition of a full leadership team to help manage the thriving business. They hired directors of finance and brokerage services and promoted two team members to director of operations and director of marketing, respectively.

Aaron has been a Chicago Association of Realtors top producer since 2012, consistently earning the association’s Platinum Award for being in the top 1 percent of producers every year.

When not working, Amy and Aaron have the privilege of raising two daughters, Mia and Lana. “We love real estate but raising our kids is equally fulfilling,” says Aaron. “As they get older, the example we set in how to treat people is the most important lesson we can provide.”
