All three of these top real estate professionals will tell you their biggest accomplishment in the past year was moving to Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, joining forces and starting the Keystone Group.

Working as a bellhop in his youth taught Gordon Munden the most valuable lesson he applies to sales. “Anyone can load suitcases into a room,” he says. “But the important thing is to make it a good experience.”

Munden, a former actor, has been providing clients with a good experience for more than 30 years. “I love what I do,” Munden says. “My passion about it affects everyone around me. My enthusiasm is obvious.”

Taira Doherty shares his philosophy. “Treat people as you would want to be treated,” she says. Doherty grew up watching her dad work in real estate, instilling in her a passion for it at a young age. “With my father’s encouragement and coaching, I knew it would be the right move for me,” she says.

Together they work with buyers and sellers in resale, new construction and investment properties throughout Chicagoland and in the north and northwest suburbs. “From first-time homebuyers to relocation clients to luxury buyers, nothing beats helping someone find their perfect home,” Doherty says.

The Keystone Group have been involved in building and selling high-end new construction homes in Lincoln Park. This involves not only marketing and sales, but also providing key input into design, floorplans, and finishes, something Mark Markarian is highly skilled at.

Mark Markarian studied architecture and engineering, earned practical experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, and even managed his own design-build firm before becoming a broker. Markarian always puts himself in clients’ shoes. “My product knowledge coupled with decades of experience gives me the confidence that there is a solution to every problem,” he says.

Doherty, Munden and Markarian agree that in establishing the Keystone Group, “We have been highly successful at developing a consistent and strong marketing plan, and creating a buzz around our marketed homes, and our group.” Echoing Munden’s and Markarian’s sentiments, Doherty adds, “In working together and by combining our skillsets, we are better able to serve our clients.” — “Working together to serve you better!
