John Noyes, Henry Gomez, Patryk Ziegler and Aaron Gosser of loanDepot strive to be educators and coaches for their clients, taking their role as loan consultants as an opportunity to share their expertise and provide buyers with the solutions they need.

“There’s a lot of confusion and misconceptions about how lending functions, and I love to take the mystery about it away for clients,” says Noyes, a 17-year industry veteran with an MBA in finance and an undergraduate degree in theater. “I take time to educate buyers and make them comfortable in what can be a pretty intimidating process.” A six-time winner of the Five Star Mortgage Professional award, Noyes specializes in helping first-time homebuyers and self-employed buyers. “I love talking with new people all the time and creating new relationships that continue to blossom as my career and their lives continue to evolve,” he says.

Gomez is equally invested in keeping the lending process simple, helping English- and Spanish-speaking clients create a plan for their future real estate purchases that’s responsible and comprehensive. Coming into the industry 11 years ago, Gomez works primarily with first-time homebuyers, as well as with individuals looking to add another property to their portfolio. “I always want to get to know what someone’s homeownership goals are,” he explains of his process. “I also insist that first-time homebuyers do at least one in-person or video conference meeting with me to make the experience a bit more personal.”

Like Gomez, Ziegler is also a first-generation immigrant. “My American Dream started in the heart of the Polish community in Chicago,” he explains, adding that as a non-native English speaker, buying his first home was incredibly stressful and inspired him to make the process easier for others. Prior to joining the real estate industry eight years ago, Ziegler worked for a bank, ultimately becoming a branch manager and ranking among the top 10 percent nationally in his field. “When I left the banking world, I did not have any Realtors I actively worked with,” he says. “Without branch referrals, I had to focus on developing new sources of business. I currently work with a few agents that continuously refer me new business and in the first quarter of 2017, I set my all-time record in closed purchase loans.” Ziegler’s client base is comprised of borrowers, many of whom are first-time homebuyers looking for conventional, FHA and VA loans. “There is no better feeling than seeing a new homeowner smiling while getting the keys to their new home,” he says.

Gosser joined the real estate industry four years ago after more than a decade in trading. Coming from a finance background gives him and his clients an edge. Working with many first-time homebuyers and condo buyers, not to mention a number of multi-unit buyers, Gosser harnesses the skills and knowledge accrued from his former job to analyze his clients’ financial statements and determine the right course of action. “I try to sit down with each client and walk them through the process,” he says. “In trading, it was just me and the computer, so this client-facing role has been refreshing. I get to help people through one of the most exciting times of their lives.” Gosser is a member of the Chairman’s Elite.
