Lauren Traficanto and Shaun Moskalik have a combined 33 years of experience, and as longtime broker associates, they’ve developed innovative strategies to fulfill their clients’ needs in a challenging market. Recently transitioning from 10 years with Berkshire Hathaway to Jameson Sotheby’s International Real Estate, Traficanto and Moskalik now focus on properties in River North, Bucktown, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Roscoe Village, West Loop and Ukrainian Village, working with buyers, sellers, investors and developers with budgets ranging from $300,000 to $3 million.

“Over the years, we’ve become a concierge service for our clients,” they say. “When they list with us, we go the extra mile. We walk through the property and go over ideas on what can be improved and then coordinate with our team of contractors and vendors to make the necessary alterations before putting the property on the market. We take our business to the next level to make this process as seamless as possible.”

For the first time this year, Traficanto and Moskalik were able to offer full staging to sellers with vacant homes, providing their clients with up-to-date insights on design trends and the market. “Staging a vacant home has proven to get the best overall price for our clients in a minimal amount of time,” they say, adding that buyers often have trouble imagining a property’s potential without a clear visual.

In 2017, Traficanto and Moskalik made the move from Berkshire to Jameson. “We made the decision based on the technology, marketing and the reputation Jameson Sotheby’s offers to our clients,” they explain. “This was not an easy decision, but we felt it was the best move for our clients going forward.” The switch also allows them to serve clients from all over the world.

Prior to joining Jameson, Traficanto and Moskalik were part of an award-winning team, earning the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award as well as recognition from Chicago Association of Realtors for being Top Producers in sales and number of units. They are both members of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Traficanto is on the board of Real Estate to the Rescue and Moskalik is a member of the Lincoln Park and River North Chambers of Commerce as well as the Art Institute Society for Contemporary Art. He is also involved with Kalamazoo Communities in Schools.
