During his 17 years in the industry, Jason O’Beirne, senior vice president of sales for Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, has learned that success doesn’t come overnight. “It takes time, and there will be ups and downs along the way,” he says. “You are going to fall — but when you realize that you can get back up and that it’s just part of the process, you will be willing to work even harder.”

Although O’Beirne has focused on residential real estate for the majority of his career, he has worked almost exclusively with builders and developers during the past decade, representing clients on the construction of more than 300 single-family home projects in Chicago.

“My biggest accomplishment in the past year has been my dedication to the process. Success follows good practices,” he says. “Instead of waking up and saying, ‘I want to make some money today,’ I try to wake up and say, ‘I am going to do all of the little things that give me the best chance to succeed.’ Investing more time and effort into the process ultimately creates the results. Money and success follow greatness like a shadow. I am pursuing greatness and trust that the rest will follow.”

A Jameson Sotheby’s Top Producer each year since 2008, O’Beirne has also maintained his status as a Chicago Association of Realtors’ Top 1 Percent Producer. He was a 2017 CAR Top Producer by Neighborhood for residential sales in Irving Park, and was featured on the 2018 list of Crain’s Custom Media’s Most Influential Residential Real Estate Brokers. Most recently, Men’s Book magazine featured him as a Real Estate Visionary.

Helping clients achieve their goals is his team’s top priority. “Real estate isn’t always transparent,” he says, “but I bring trust and confidence to the process. I know the market and pricing dynamics, and I am an expert in the neighborhoods I work in.”

When not working, Jason focuses on family. He is a longtime volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters Chicago and regularly unwinds with a game of chess.
