Greg Cirone, Managing Broker

Interdome Realty

Growing up in an Italian family, Greg Cirone says he developed the main traits a real estate agent needs to be successful — an outgoing personality and high emotional intelligence give him the ability to connect with people.

“I genuinely want to help people,” says Cirone, a managing broker with Interdome Realty. “It’s such a wonderful feeling seeing the joy on their face when they buy or sell a home.”

Knowing someone else’s happiness is the result of his hard work means more to him than words can express. “It’s what keeps me going,” he says.

Cirone added four agents to his office, his best year to date, and helped develop top producers.  “I sold more than 120 units for the year, a major accomplishment,” he says noting it was a long-term goal he finally reached. “With everyone’s teamwork, we hope to increase momentum, and keep up with the volume and demand.”

From 2013 through 2017, Cirone was named a Top 1% Producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors. During that same time period, he was also a recipient of the Five Star Professional and American Best Agent awards. In 2017, he held the No. 1 agent spot in Chicago’s Dunning, O’Hare and Portage Park neighborhoods. Meanwhile, his sales volume skyrocketed from $12 million to $25 million.

He says his previous career in banking, where he honed his organizational and communication skills and learned how to build a clientele, prepped him for success in real estate. Today, he serves first-time homebuyers, sellers looking to upgrade or downsize and investors. Meeting new people and forming long-term relationships with them are the most rewarding aspects of his career.

He believes it takes a village to be successful and attributes his accomplishments to the network of lenders, attorneys and title experts he works with, in addition to the support of his wife, three daughters and family. “I wouldn’t be able to do what I do if I didn’t have them backing me 100 percent,” he says.

Fluent in Italian and Spanish, Cirone is familiar with real estate in Europe, Central America and South America, knowledge that has been useful in growing his business. Best of all, his team recently made it possible for his family to spend three weeks in Italy without disrupting operations back home.
