Elizabeth Amidon has been named a Five Star Professional and a top producer for eight consecutive years. Before starting her business in Chicago in 2008, she worked in real estate in Montana and Colorado. Amidon joined Jameson Sotheby’s International Real Estate in 2016 as a real estate broker. “My experience with people and their real estate in Chicago, partnered with the Jameson Sotheby’s brand and their amazing group of the best agents, has me so excited about business growth and being the best agent I can be,” Amidon says.

Amidon says she takes as many opportunities as she can to work with different clients, including sellers, luxury buyers, property investors and developers, dedicating herself to their needs. “I think it’s very important to be diverse in service as an agent, because it keeps you knowledgeable in many different facets,” she says. “I am also open to working in more locations than many agents — all over Chicago and the close suburbs.”

Her newest focus is residential real estate development. Amidon values developing strong relationships with her clients and other agents in the industry. “Thoughtfulness, helping each other and being courteous can make or break your quality of success,” she says. “I know this city inside out. I have incredible market knowledge and I’m excited that I can share this with my clients.”

Every morning, Amidon goes running on the Chicago lakefront trail. “As I am with my business, I am completely committed to my workouts,” she says. “I run regardless of the weather. Too hot or too cold, I still go for it. It’s my favorite part of the day.”

Every year, Amidon runs the Chicago Marathon. “I love the journey of a marathon and its training, and I love the ritual year after year,” she says. When she’s not exploring the city through real estate and running, Amidon enjoys shopping, trying new restaurants and getting involved in the community.
