In more than six years with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, broker associate Bridgett Kiefer has worked in nearly all facets of the organization. She spent three years in its commercial division and one year managing and assisting with the opening of its Gold Coast office. Currently and for the past 18 months, she oversees and manages the marketing and sales strategy of its new construction developments.

“It is both an exciting and challenging role,” she says. “Every day is incredibly different. I love applying my results-oriented mentality with the excellent support and collaboration behind the scenes at Jameson.” She says the organization focuses heavily on training by both its managing brokers and mentors. “I have the privilege of having Chris Feurer, our CEO, as my mentor,” she says.

Kiefer works with both buyers and sellers in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, and the south and west suburbs. A lifelong Chicago native, born and raised on the southwest side, she prides herself on being a neighborhood girl with an incredibly positive attitude. “I know this city inside and out,” she says. “It is all I’ve ever known and loved. I combine my well-rounded, down-to-earth personality with my passion for Chicago real estate to assist and educate my clients through every step of a transaction.” A great listener with a proven track record of success, Kiefer thrives when she is presented with challenges.

Consistency, daily routines, time blocking and an incredibly positive attitude are skills she relies on to reach her goals. “This goes for not only real estate but any entrepreneur who is looking to push forward to the next level in their career,” she says. “You must control your day and not let the day control you.” She understands that in real estate, there will always be challenges, but she commits to staying on track and following her plan. “Every day, you have to take the proactive approach and not the reactive approach,” she says. “Otherwise, you’ll never get ahead.”

When she’s not aiding clients in their search for a new home, she spends time with her husband Brendan and their two young children, Brianna and Kyle. “They are my daily why,” she says.
