Andrew G. Chevalier, a senior home lending advisor at Chase in Wilmette, has 12 years of real estate experience and an impressive track record of excellence. A recipient of the National Achiever Award in 2015 and 2017, Chevalier specializes in the North Shore market, working with affluent customers who are buying homes in the $800,000 to $3 million range. Since joining the Chicago team in 2014, he has closed over $170 million in home loans.

In 2017, Chevalier reached $60 million in sales and enjoyed an increase in referrals, in large part because of his ability to build a successful team and delegate necessary tasks. “I let go and relied on my team to handle the process side of things, which allowed me to be 100 percent focused on my clients,” he says.

Known for his discipline and exceptional work ethic, Chevalier creates a business plan every year — one for his career and one for his personal life. “I share the plan and have someone close to me hold me accountable,” he explains. “Knowing that someone is holding me accountable is enough to push through the difficult times.” He also notes that he always prepares a Plan B for his clients.

Along with his wife, Chevalier volunteers as a tutor for fifth-grade students every week. This past June, he hiked the Havasupai Trail in Arizona, making the 30-mile trek with 45 pounds strapped to his back during the hottest time of the year.
