Cover Story New Construction The 2009 Fall Collection

by Chicago Agent

Welcome to Chicago Agent’s Fall New Construction Issue. This season’s listings include tons of single-family homes, condominiums, duplexes, simplexes, homesites, townhomes and almost anything else your clients can imagine.

We’ve brought you listings from Calumet Heights to Shorewood, and have touched on every suburb and city neighborhood in between, including a few neighborhoods you might never have even heard of before.

This comprehensive guide is the only one of its kind, and could be an invaluable tool as you comb Chicagoland to find the perfect new homes for your clients.

This issue is designed to guide you through the hard hats and rubble to determine which newly constructed home is the one that will be right for your client. From gut rehabs to ground that hasn’t yet been broken, we’ve included hundreds of listings, each unique in its own special way.

The market is slowly picking up speed, and builders are starting to gain confidence. First-time homebuyers are scrambling for the tax credit, and scores of others are out there looking for a new place to live. The beauty of new construction is the ability to find perfection by customizing your dream home.

The following pages contain virtually all of the information needed to help your clients select a new construction home in the Chicagoland area. Of our 191 entries, we have 95 from the suburbs, 91 from the city and five from neighboring states. We’ve organized the listings in alphabetical order, and then when Chicago rolls around we’ve ordered them alphabetically by neighborhood. Included in each listing are a description, the location, price, the developer’s name, the co-op commission and the sales contact as provided by the many agents, brokers and public relations agencies from around the city who we all work with every day.

Though you can keep this tome handy until spring rolls around, please keep in mind that all of the information was submitted to us, and that information is always subject to change. It’s a good idea to check in with the sales agent to make sure that everything is accurate and current.

Good luck and happy new construction hunting!
