More Co-Listings At Higher Prices

by Chicago Agent

How many listings are co-listed? The answer is 17.39 percent of all for-sale, non-commercial, non-land listings that have closed since Jan. 1st, 2011. LeapRE looked at what price bracket has the highest percentage of co-listed listings, and found that the trend is linear. As the price increases, the percent of co-listings increases. This seems to make sense because the split commissions from higher-priced properties are large enough sums for the listing to be worthwhile to multiple agents, and vice versa for lower priced properties.
