On November 17, media officials will be given the first opportunity to tour the “better, not bigger” housing design promoted by Sarah Susanka, FAIA, architect and best-selling author of the “Not So Big House” series.
Susanka is the best-selling author of nine books, all of which bring together the concepts of home and lifestyle. Her books have collectively sold over $1.2 million copies
The event will be showcasing the Not So Big Showhouse at Schoolstreet in Libertyville. Beginning on Saturday, November 19, the Showhouse will be open for public tours on weekends for six months.
The media event will take place from 9a.m. to 2p.m. on the 17th, at the Schoolstreet Showhouse, located at 138 School Street in Libertyville, roughly 30 miles out of downtown Chicago. Along with the tour of the Showhouse, an interview opportunity will be available with Susanka and John McLinden, Schoolstreet Homes developer.
