Thinking about taking advantage of the current real estate market by purchasing a home? Then be sure to attend the “Savvy Home Buying Seminar.” Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Associate Broker Ilisa Farrell will host the seminar for potential home buyers looking to gain a better understanding of how to purchase a home in today’s market.
The seminars will take place:
* Tuesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 30 from 6 to 9 p.m., at Niles West High School located at 5701 Oakton Street in Skokie.
* Tuesday, November 2 and Tuesday, November 9 from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Evanston High School located at 1600 Dodge Avenue in Evanston.
The seminars are through Oakton Community College’s Alliance for Lifelong Learning.
Farrell will lead the seminar, which will provide home buyers insight on how to navigate the home buying process. Attendees will learn money saving tips and discover unforeseen costs associated with purchasing a home. The home buyer seminar will also discuss the intricacies of buying foreclosures and short sales. All participants will receive home buying handouts and a workbook with information that will help buyers purchase a home.
