Join the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) City Chapter on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Toto USA Chicago Showroom to learn how you can help protect the industry from these drastic changes.
The City of Chicago is preparing dramatic changes in the Affordable Requirements Ordinance (ARO) that could stall or halt future multi-family residential development. The multi-family rental and for-sale projects are facing potential ARO “in lieu fee” increases of 75% to 125% and other mandates which could force cancellation of many development projects.
HBAGC needs your help to educate the Mayor’s Office and City Council on why these proposals could harm future development and have a very negative economic impact on Chicago jobs, companies, neighborhoods and property taxes. If development is stalled, it will impact everyone and every company involved with multi-family construction and development.
RSVP today and join the fight to save the industry from the City of Chicago.
