Join the Chicago Architect Foundation for their first openhousechicago weekend.
More than 150 unique locations, usually not open to the public, will opened and allow for visitors a “backstage pass” to Chicago’s most interesting space and places.
Ideal for tourists and locals, the weekend will showcase places in the Loop as well as lesser known neighborhoods like Bronzeville and Little Village.
The feature sites include Christy Webber Landscaping in Garfield Park, Emil Bach House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Rogers Park, Chicago Transit Authority Headquarters in the West Loop, Little Village High School – a $200 million campus of four schools, and Devon Avenue’s multi-cultural commercial strip in Rogers Park.
