Ed Hester, vice president of Dream Town’s luxury division, started in the industry upon returning to Chicago after living overseas for eight years. Before joining Dream Town, Hester met with owner Yuval Degani, who encouraged him to get his real estate license and work for the company. “I was my own first customer, and the rest is history. I’m still with Dream Town today!” says Hester. The company is a privately owned midsize brokerage with an excellent online presence that offers a web-based clientele that other companies can’t. “It affords me to be able to adapt quickly to this ever evolving market, and to expediently make and institute any changes that may benefit my clients,” says Hester. His favorite part of his career is meeting a diverse group of people; Hester places emphasis on taking a special interest in each client. “My goals are to continue to grow my business, but be able to service my clients with a very ‘hands-on’ approach and provide them with the highest level of service,” says Hester. Currently, he is working with previous clients on the resale of homes, as well as working with new buyers and investors.
