With 33 years of experience in the industry, Walter Krajewski knows there is no secret to long-term success. “Take care of each client, and they will refer you and your partners to their friends and family,” he says.
Krajewski is a vice president and mortgage loan originator with Regions Bank and is extremely detail oriented, a quality that results in successful transactions. “Over 95% of my preapprovals close. If there is a way to get a qualified buyer into a home, we will find it,” he says. “I take great pride in knowing that my clients and Realtor partners can feel confident in their transactions.”
Krajewski initially got into the mortgage business when he was working for a finance company and found himself unsatisfied with the products and rates that he was able to offer clients. “I just couldn’t feel good about it,” he said. “But I’ve found my home at Regions. Not only do we have extremely competitive rates, but we have programs our competitors simply don’t have.”
While he loves helping all clients, Krajewski finds working with first-time homebuyers the most rewarding. “Helping them navigate what I call the ‘mortgage maze’ is something that makes me truly proud of what I do,” he says.
