Chris Doyle & Lauren Dayton, Senior Vice President of Sales

Lauren Dayton Team, Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

With 30 years of combined experience in real estate, Lauren Dayton and Chris Doyle of the Lauren Dayton Team at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty lean on each other and their wider group to bring an exceptional level of expertise, collaboration and support to their clients. Dayton specializes in luxury listings, while Doyle works on buyer and seller representation, including first- and second-time buyers. Together, the duo covers most of the Chicago area, including West Loop, South Loop, River North, Lincoln Park and Lakeview, as well as the surrounding suburbs.

Dayton has worked in real estate all her life and attributes her success to her grandmother’s early encouragement that she purchase a home. She first got started selling new construction in South Loop when the neighborhood was expanding in the early 2000s. Doyle joined the real estate world after a career as a business banker, finding his entry point in short-sale negotiations.

As the team’s senior vice president of sales, Dayton prides herself on her eye for design, staging and construction, noting that her detail-oriented approach makes clients’ lives easier. “I handle all of the necessary items that need to be done in order to sell a home. Most of my clients don’t know where to start, so they freeze. I’m able to take the work off their hands, and they trust me to handle and organize everything that needs to be done to get the listing sold,” she says.

Doyle is driven by his desire to build strong relationships and emphasizes client education. “I first like to teach them about the market and then move on to the buying or selling process. I then set expectations on current market conditions and how buyers and sellers may react to offers,” the vice president of sales says. “I’ll spend countless hours with a client until they are satisfied.”
