Vol. 4, Issue 16. New Construction, Port Clinton Place, Vernon Hills

by Chicago Agent

Port Clinton Place, Vernon Hills

Rosemont-based Opus North Corp. announced it has started construction on the first of two eight-story condominium buildings as well as a number of rowhomes at Port Clinton Place, the developer’s new community in north-suburban Vernon Hills. The community is one residential component of a $125 million, 20-acre mixed-use redevelopment in Vernon Hills.

Port Clinton Place includes 132 single-level condominium residences and 47 three-level rowhomes. Condominiums measure from 1,036 to 2,187 square feet and offer one-bedroom-plus-den to three-bedroom floor plans with one to two-and-one-half bathrooms and secure underground parking. Rowhomes have three bedrooms, two-and-one-half bathrooms, finished lower levels and attached, rear-loaded, two-car garages. They range in size from 2,028 to 2,464 square feet.

Port Clinton Place is adjacent to the site of the planned Vernon Hills Town Center, which will include retail space with multiple dining and shopping options. Additionally, the community is within walking distance of existing restaurants and stores along Milwaukee Avenue, including the Village Green Lincolnshire shopping area.

Both the rowhomes and condominiums at Port Clinton Place come complete with a high-end package of standard finishes and features, including 9- or 10-foot ceilings; kitchens with granite countertops, undermount sinks and stainless steel appliances; and luxury master baths with a separate shower and soaking tub, per plan.

For more information, call 847.634.7711, or visit the community online at PortClintonPlace.com.
