4. We love to give gifts, especially when someone is celebrating a big day. Anniversaries and birthdays are wonderful reasons to get in touch with someone, and who doesn’t like to celebrated on their big occasions?

3. It is important to understand your unique style of communication and to play to your strengths. In both my personal and professional life, I like to write quick notes via email or text. 2. In my office, we use Contactually, a user-friendly client management program, to help us stay in touch with clients and prospects. In addition to making it easy to keep our client lists organized, Contactually sends us regular reminders to reach out to specific individuals.

1. If learning a new app like Contactually seems daunting, then hire someone else to keep you organized. It is well worth the investment.

Joe Zimmerman prides himself most on providing excellent client service and extensive industry knowledge to every client relationship – attributes that have enabled him to build 100 percent of his client base on referrals, and he was recently named to the National Association of Realtors’ “Top 30 Under 30” and the Chicago Association of Realtors’ “Top 40 Under 40” lists for achievement in sales.
