Describe your look: I like to wear a colorful, polished look with a trendy edge. I hardly ever wear black.

What is in your bag/briefcase? My cell phone, wallet, gum and several lipsticks!

What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Women should dress age appropriate. Some dress too young and some dress too old. Women of a certain age should not have jeans with glitter on their rear end.

What is your favorite piece of clothing? I love dresses — casual dresses with flats or dressy dresses with pumps. The single best fashion invention ever is the cardigan. It’s a great jacket substitute, and you can adjust easily to temperature changes.

What do you consider a must-have accessory? Every outfit should have the perfect necklace. Buy an outfit, buy a necklace.

What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? I lived in Texas during the 1980s. My crime would be shoulder pads, big hair and huge earrings.

Where are your favorite places to shop? I am not an online shopper. I have to feel the texture and fabric, try it on and go home with it. Currently, I’m into The Limited, Ann Taylor and Nordstrom Rack.
