Describe your look: Hipster professional

What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Wearing clothes that don’t fit. Especially when men do it.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? Probably my Wolverine boots. They’re supposed to last 1,000 miles, but I’ve worn them so much I had to have them resoled. Still, they’re great and they look good with denim or a suit and tie.

What do you consider a must-have accessory? A well-groomed beard

What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? I used to wear 70’s style jeans and rainbow sandals when I lived in California. I also used to have really long hair, so it sort of worked. Also, in college, my roommate was pre-med, so I used to cut off his extra scrub pants into shorts and wear them to the gym.

Where are your favorite places to shop? Big fan of Suitsupply. I also like Mildblend in Wicker Park and Haberdasher in River North.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? Not wearing socks. Unless it’s super cold outside, then some sort of colorful socks. But 10 months out of the year, I’m definitely not wearing any socks.

What is in your bag/briefcase? A sleeve of Ritz Crackers
