Describe your look: Classic, preppy and fun.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? For me, it is anything that is too trendy. Most super-trendy pieces have never looked good on me, and I am not a fan of spending money on something that will look comical a season later.
What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? I have a couple favorite pieces, but an expertly tailored blazer is hard to beat. It can complete a look and give casual pieces a boost.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? A “must-have” piece needs to have longevity because of its meaning and be a universal addition to any look. Mine is from my husband, who (with the help of his sister) bought me a classic David Yurman ring that I never take off and seems to match perfectly with everything.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? Slap bracelets, jelly shoes and hypercolor.
Where are your favorite places to shop? J.Crew, Cole Haan, J.Crew, Kate Spade and…J.Crew.
What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? Two things I probably always have with me are my iPhone (to stay connected and make sure I am accessible to my clients) and a kale smoothie, since I need and love a morning green drink.
