Loretta Alonzo of Romeoville Named MORe Realtor of the Year

Loretta Alonzo has been named MORe’s 2013 Realtor of the Year.

Loretta Alonzo of Romeoville has been recognized as the 2013 Realtor of the Year by the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe).

Alonzo is the broker/owner of Century 21 Alonzo & Associates in La Grange Park, and is also the 2013 Immediate Past President of the Illinois Association of Realtors. She is also a licensed Illinois continuing education instructor and was named Woman of the Year by the Mexican-American Business & Professional Women’s Club.

MORe Recognizes Alonzo and her Accomplishments in the Real Estate Industry

In Alonzo’s 40 years of leadership in real estate, she served as the president of the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois – now known as Midwest Real Estate Data, LLC (MRED) – and of the West Towns Board of Realtors, the Century 21 Chicagoland & NW Indiana Broker Council and the West Suburban Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Alonzo has chaired a variety of Illinois Association of Realtors committees, including Finance, Strategic Planning and the Technology Working Group. She also serves as a board member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and contributed a great deal as a member of NAR’s Federal Housing Policy Committee.

In addition to her work in the real estate industry, Alonzo is involved with service and charitable organizations, such as the Easter Seals Society, the Grand Haven Veterans Club and the LaGrange Park Chamber of Commerce.

She is knowledgeable, strong, trustworthy and, despite her many commitments, always makes time to help others.

MORe’s Realtor of the Year is selected using a list of criteria that includes local, state and national Realtor association service; community service; business accomplishments and professional designations.
