The Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) will be hosting a fundraiser for Step-Up, a charity that empowers teenage girls from under-resourced communities in Chicago. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second floor of English Bar and Restaurant.
The event will cost $30 per person. One drink ticket and complimentary appetizers will be provided, and drink discounts will be offered. There will also be a silent auction. The Chicago Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) 2013 Good Neighbor Awards networking event will take place from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at Greenhouse Loft on 2545 W. Diversey Avenue.

The Chicago Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) will host its first-ever roundtables networking event, titled “Mapping Your Global Real Estate,” on Thursday, May 30 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse. Experts will hold discussions for six different topics, which are listed here.
Pre-registration will cost $39 for members and $45 for nonmembers, and onsite registration will cost $49 for members and $55 for nonmembers. Pre-registration will close on Tuesday, May 28 at midnight. The ticket price includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and a drink ticket. Valet parking will be available at $12 per car.
The Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe) will be hosting the “Let’s Get Back in the Swing” golf outing at the Silver Lake Country Club on Wednesday, June 12. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m., and a continental breakfast will be served. A shotgun start will occur at 9:30 a.m., and a steak and chicken dinner will be followed at 4:00 p.m.
The event will cost $70 for golf with cart, $115 for golf with cart and dinner, $50 for dinner and $445 for a foursome with dinner. There will be a cash raffle, in addition to other prizes.

Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED), Chicagoland’s multiple listing service (MLS), has announced that MREDpalooza, one of the largest MLS tech expos in the country, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2013. The event will be taking place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Guaranteed Rate is partnering with the Peapod Project for their 3rd Annual Disco Dash race on Thursday, June 27 at Soldier Field. Participants can run a 5K or a 10K race, and afterward, enjoy food, drinks, prizes and live disco entertainment.
The cost ranges from $30 to $75, depending on your age and the date you register. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and prizes will be awarded to the best dressed male and female, in addition to the winners of the races.
