Patrick Dalessandro of Prospect Heights was named the 2008 Illinois Realtor of the Year. The announcement was made at the Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR) business meetings in Springfield on March 27. A Realtor of the Year banquet will be held in Dalessandro’s honor on Sept. 16, 2008, at the Westin Hotel in Lombard.

The Realtor of the Year award is presented to the one member of IAR who best exemplifies the professional qualities of a Realtor. The award recognizes leadership and service in civic, community and charitable causes, as well as activity in the Realtor association.

With a career that spans 37 years, Dalessandro is the broker/owner of Coachlight Realty GMAC, the company he founded in 1974 in Niles.
