Broker, Baird & Warner

Much of Robert John Anderson’s success can be attributed to a long career defined by an unswerving focus on high-quality marketing and service. A top broker with Baird & Warner, he has ranked among Chicago’s top 1 percent of top producers for the past nine years, earning almost $400 million in sales, which has garnered him Baird & Warner’s prestigious Founders Club distinction.

“I am fortunate to have clients for life,” he says. “I keep in touch with them, growing with my clients through their and my life experiences, offering them my counsel and sound, proven advice.”

Recognizing the increasingly integral role social media now plays in communication, Anderson and his team utilize Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn to maintain open lines of communication with clients. Anderson also writes a blog, Dohmayn, that focuses on everything design-, architecture- and home-related, and is launching a new, revamped website in the near future.

“In order to truly be considered well-developed and designed, websites should be regarded as a work in progress that evolve as the market and trends evolve,” Anderson says.

Though he is mindful of the importance of marketing, Anderson continues to keep his eye on the prize – promising real estate ventures. He is currently handling all resale and rental business for The Clare at Water Tower, a luxury senior housing high-rise. Anderson anticipates significant interest for the development, which was recently purchased by the New York-based Senior Care Development, LLC.

Ongoing education is a priority for Anderson. He has obtained his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Green certifications. Anderson also keeps his finger on the pulse of his community, sitting on the Bucktown Zoning Board (BZO), the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and Friends of Bloomingdale Trails. His outside interests include architecture, home design and fashion.
